NeuroLink Bridge ("we," "our," or "the Service") is an AI-powered support platform designed to help parents and caregivers of children with autism. Our platform includes AriaStar (an AI companion), Care Guide creation, daily tracking, and community features. By using our Service, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. What NeuroLink Bridge Is (and Isn't)

NeuroLink Bridge IS:

• An AI-powered emotional support and organization platform
• A way to create and share care guides with people you trust
• A tool for tracking daily patterns and identifying what works for your child
• A convenience tool to help communication between caregivers
• A research and educational support platform

NeuroLink Bridge IS NOT:

• A medical service or healthcare provider
• A diagnostic tool for autism or any condition
• A replacement for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice
• An emergency service (always call 911 for emergencies)
• A substitute for consultation with qualified professionals

3. Your Use of the Service

By using NeuroLink Bridge, you represent that:

• You are at least 18 years old or have parental consent
• You are entering information about your own child or have legal authority to do so
• The information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge
• You will use the Service only for lawful purposes

4. Your Content and Privacy

Your Ownership: You retain all rights to the information you enter into NeuroLink Bridge.

Your Responsibility: You are responsible for:

• The accuracy of information you provide
• Who you share your guides with (via QR codes or links)
• Keeping your account credentials secure

How We Handle Your Data:

• Without an account: All data stays on your device only
• With an account: Data is encrypted and backed up to enable syncing across your devices
• Always: We never sell, share, or analyze your personal data

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service to harm, threaten, or harass others
• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the Service
• Misrepresent your identity or authority
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to extract, reverse engineer, or misuse the AI systems
• Share access credentials with unauthorized users

6. AI Features and Limitations

Understanding AriaStar:

• AriaStar is powered by AI technology (Anthropic's Claude) and generates responses dynamically
• AI responses are based on patterns and training, not professional credentials
• AI may occasionally provide inaccurate or inappropriate responses
• You should always use your own judgment and consult professionals for important decisions
• We continuously improve AriaStar but cannot guarantee perfect responses

Community Wisdom: When enabled, AriaStar may reference anonymized insights from other autism families. These are shared experiences, not professional advice.

7. Intellectual Property

The NeuroLink Bridge name, design, and functionality are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your personal content remains yours.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• NeuroLink Bridge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for actions taken based on information or AI-generated responses
• We are not liable for any AI-generated content that may be inaccurate or inappropriate
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us (if any)

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NeuroLink Bridge, its creators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features at any time
• Update these Terms with notice via the Service
• Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Update AI models and capabilities to improve the Service

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
