Data Sharing Policy
Effective Date: December 10, 2025
Our Commitment to Your Privacy
At NeuroLink Bridge, we understand that you're sharing sensitive information about your family. We take this responsibility seriously. This policy explains exactly how your data may be used to help the broader autism community while protecting your family's privacy.
1. Community Wisdom: How Shared Data Helps Families
NeuroLink Bridge uses aggregated, anonymized insights from our community to help all families. This is one of our core features - learning from thousands of family experiences to provide better support for everyone.
What We Share (Anonymized)
- Pattern Recognition: Common challenges and what strategies have worked (e.g., "73% of families found morning visual schedules helpful for reducing transition stress")
- Success Metrics: Aggregate data about which interventions show positive outcomes
- Community Insights: Trends and patterns that help us improve recommendations
What We NEVER Share
- Your name, email, or contact information
- Your child's name or any identifying details
- Specific family situations that could identify you
- Any information you've marked as private
- Raw conversation transcripts
2. Care Guide Sharing
When you create a Care Guide, you control who sees it:
| Sharing Level |
Who Can See |
What's Visible |
| Private |
Only you |
Everything |
| Shared Link |
Anyone with the link |
Only sections you choose to share |
| Professional Share |
Specific caregivers/teachers |
Customized view for their role |
You Control Sharing
You can revoke any shared link at any time. When you delete a share, it becomes immediately inaccessible.
3. AI Learning and Improvement
Our AI (AriaStar) learns from interactions to provide better support. Here's how:
How AriaStar Learns
- Pattern Recognition: Identifying which responses are most helpful
- Language Optimization: Learning which phrases resonate with families
- Situation Matching: Connecting similar family situations to relevant advice
Privacy Protections
- All learning happens on aggregated, anonymized data
- Individual conversations are not used to train external AI models
- Your specific family details never leave our secure environment
4. Third-Party Sharing
We Do NOT Sell Your Data
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing or any other purpose.
Limited Third-Party Services
We use the following services to operate NeuroLink Bridge:
- Supabase: Secure database hosting (your data is encrypted)
- Anthropic (Claude): AI conversations (no personal data stored by them)
- Stripe: Payment processing (they only see billing info, not your family data)
- Vercel: Website hosting (no access to your personal data)
5. Research and Studies
We may conduct or participate in research to improve autism support. If we ever use data for research:
- Data will always be fully anonymized
- No individual family will ever be identifiable
- Results will be used to benefit the autism community
- We will never share data with researchers without proper anonymization
6. Your Data Rights
You have complete control over your data:
- Access: Request a copy of all your data
- Correction: Update or correct any information
- Deletion: Request complete deletion of your account and data
- Export: Download your data in a portable format
- Opt-Out: Exclude your data from community insights
7. Data Retention

- Post a prominent notice in the application
- Give you the option to opt-out or delete your account
